The houseboat is the perfect platform to enjoy the area in true comfort an style, including accommodation, outstanding cuisine and a true African river safari.
The Chobe region has an astonishing representation of wildlife/birdlife in the spectacular panoramas only found on the stunning landscapes of Africa. This is one of the finest photographic hotspots in the world. The incredible landscapes of the area will provide stunning backdrops for any of your photos. Water-based wildlife/bird photography is a unique and unforgettable experience. Not only do you get closer to your bird and animal subjects than you would on a conventional safari vehicle, there is also something magically special about African waterways. They are the elixir of life, teeming with life, cool, colourful, tranquil … and there you are … part of it! Right in the middle of it all!
Dusk and dawn on the Chobe river are unforgettable – these are the finest times to be out on the water making the most out of the spectacular light conditions and the animal behaviour associated with the beginning and end of each African day.

We make use of a boat that is custom build for photographers – its stability and design takes into account your every requirement for that perfect shot whilst perched on your 360° swiveling chair with its own support system.
Your host, being a professional photographer will be explaining the various techniques needed to take outstanding wildlife/birdlife photos in the area. At midday you get to study and admire your artistry under the expert supervision of your host. And if you’re not a photographer, come along anyway … you’ll enjoy the experience!
The Chobe wetlands and floodplains support an overwhelming 400 species of birds making this an international birders delight and drawing enthusiasts from all over the world. Rock Pratincoles, African Skimmers and the African Finfoot are amongst a few of the very unique species found in this area, along with abundant storks, kingfishers and bee-eaters. The Chobe River is also host to a remarkable number of fish eagle and your stay with us will allow you to see these beautiful birds in a very intimate environment. Our guides are very knowledgeable and along with your personal guide you will be able to identify and mark off many species on the checklist.
Outstanding Game Viewing
The Chobe National Park host the largest elephant population in the world, these wonderful animals also share the river banks with buffalo, hippo, crocodile, lion and even leopard may be spied coming down to drink at dawn or dusk. The list of viewings is extensive with kudu, lechwe, puku, giraffe, roan antelope and more making this an unforgettable outing.
